About Hagood Law Firm
Jared Hagood is the founder of The Hagood Law Firm, PLLC and has dedicated his professional practice to representing those who have been wronged. Jared’s experience and reputation has allowed him to represent clients in complex cases nationwide. Whether you have been wronged by an individual, a corporation, or an insurance company, Jared has the passion, the dedication, the commitment, and the experience to hold those accountable responsible for your harm.
Jared was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Plano, Texas. After graduating from Plano Senior High School in 2003, Jared graduated with a B.A. from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Afterwards, Jared returned home to Texas where he was trained in courtroom advocacy by the prestigious Trial Advocacy Program at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. There, he was a Director on the Board of Advocates, successfully represented the law school in many national moot court and mock trial tournaments, and won multiple best speaker awards and advocacy awards including the John M. O’Quinn Advocacy Award.
Jared began his legal career at Marks, Balette and Giessel where he realized his passion as a plaintiff’s attorney. “Within a few weeks of working at Marks, Balette and Giessel, I quickly saw that innocent people were being wronged by corporations, insurance companies, and other individuals. These people put their trust in the hands of these companies, companies that owed responsibilities to them. These corporations refused to take accountability for breaching these trusts and responsibilities and make excuses instead. These businesses didn’t have souls; these businesses were profit centers.”
Jared’s passion for plaintiff’s litigation has continued throughout his legal career. Prior to forming The Hagood Law Firm, PLLC, Jared was an associate at The Dean Law Firm in Houston, Texas, and at The Keith Law Firm, P.C. in Fort Worth, Texas. At both firms, Jared gained extensive experience in representing individuals and businesses that were wronged by others in claims including, but not limited to: pipeline explosions, oil and gas rig incidents, workplace accidents, first-party/bad faith insurance claims, storm damage claims, industrial incidents, defective metal on metal hip devices/implants, BP Oil Spill claims, and medical malpractice. Jared now brings this experience and passion for his clients everyday at The Hagood Law Firm, PLLC.
